Safaga Maritime Port

Description

Safaga port is one of the oldest Egyptian ports as it was established in 1911. It is located on the Red Sea coast on an area of 57 square kilometers. The port has a vital role in transporting Egypt's foreign trade. According to Safaga Maritime Port development plan which included the restoration of the entire infrastructure, renovation of the passengers’ terminal, constructing car parks as well as the construction of PV solar power plants.
TEC-MERGE was assigned the construction of solar plants in this project and the scope of work included the supplying, installing and operating the solar plants with all the construction, electrical, mechanical, testing and commissioning works needed to deliver the solar stations successfully.
